Welcome Back, Wiseman.
You make accurate onservations and raise an interesting question. In my business, the advice is often not taken. I prescribed contraception for a young woman six months ago and diagnosed her pregnancy yesterday. She just found it too difficult to remember to take her pill each day. On the other hand, I have received some really neat pm's - even from one who "joined" to thank me for what was learned as a lurker. For each cohort of teens that become sexually active, it is a new experience. In their view, no one has ever had the problems and experiences they are having - forget eighty millenia of humanoid history or the billions of people who have had a "first experience." I get frustrated with my patients, angry with some posters, wish a few would read and keep quiet - such as a Mr something who just showed up today with a fake poor English. But my goal is to help young women come to grips with the challenges of being female. So, whether or not I know the results, I keep plugging away. And pissing off a few when I get short.

This thread feels like sitting in an easy chair with a cold beer...
I suppose everyone feels that their question is uniquely theirs and then there are some who don't understand what a search button is... And there will always be those who do not realize wisdom isn't about knowing everything, it's about knowing what you don't know. The more things change, the more the stay the same? I've wondered what would happen if the questions changed. The answers really do not.

I think you're right... altho the number might be higher. LOL
Noticing my own visiting/posting habits... I generally stick to three areas: marriage, new relationships, and occasionally "other sex." Some of that is personal... I'm not really qualified to deal with STD/Health Issues (and answering the question "Am I pregnant?")... most of the other forums are repetitive. Also, as I've posted before, I tend to be a bit cautious when it comes to posting advice to youngsters. One of the things that intrigues me is the diversity in age... there are 14 year olds wondering if their penis is big enough and 30-somethings wondering about their marriages... amazing community, really... perhaps because there's so much coming and going. There was a time when the site was truly dominated by a few people... feels much less so now. I can't believe I'm in my third year. LOL

hm it is a very slow moving board why it took two weeks for one of my threads to pass onto the second page. i think trhis is mainly because there are not a lot of peoplle registered. ok there are 6/7 thousand od but most other boards I am on technical ones have 30/40 thousand members, I think also sex although vast has more or less few main problems and issues where as other feilds such as electronics are much more vaster. I mainly stick around in new relationships new to sex and sometimes pleasing him and her it's just reflects my status in life as I am interested in other peoples problems and solutions that are going thru the same as me.
