Lady, a privately owned pharmacy is like "Smith's Drug Store" owned by a guy named Smith who bought (or rented) the building and decides what to sell.

A public (or corporate) pharmacy is what you would find in Wal-mart, Kroger, etc or a chain like CVS or Wal-greens.

fUNNY.. I think you should re read your posts. Especially the ones about pharmacists being like public servants. You can try to change what your intent was now.. but Imnot the only one who saw your misunderstanding of the issue here.

Even corporatew things are privately owned.. the govt doesnt own it. ONE persdon or a conglomerate of shareholders does and THEY make the rules for their own business. there is NO difference in a private and "public" business. Give me a damned break. My family corps are owned by ONE guy who makes the rules as he is the primary share holder and the bottom line rests with him.. my grandfather. Give me a break folks.. you HAVE to know how business is runinthe country you live in....

ALso oberon.. read my posts. I said exactly that. As long as he doesnt harrass the RX holder he can do whatever the hell he wants in his own business sa long as he is within the law and not fulling a RX is within his rights. Perhsaps if you read my posts youd understand.It IS obviously that hard to understand as many of you have continuously misinterpreted and totally mistated what Ive said. If you iunderstoo\d, why would you make the little last line in your post, if not to be petty and snide?

You're the one that keeps repeating yourself. And not every single business works the same way, that includes the one your almighty family is involved with. How about you open yout eyes, real real slow, so you dont get too scared off by the real world. Youre not all high and mighty, and there's no reason to belittle the rest of us. I think maybe you should look over your last post, "real real slow." Being able to debate means being able not to take personal offense at people's opinions. YOU were the one that had to go down to the level of trying to make us all feel like shit, all we are trying to do is have a good debate. Just because we don't agree with you doesn't mean our debates
"aren't worth shit."

All you have shown by saying those things is immaturity and obviously you are not able to debate with people without throwing a fit.

Next time there is a debate on here, i would suggest trying to leave without trying to make everyone else feel like our opinions dont mean anything and that you somehow need to "draw pretty lil pictures" for us.

I, and i think a lot of other people on here would appreciate it.

Geez... I really didn't mean to strike a nerve. In fact, that comment wasn't aimed at you.

"I don't see that as being that hard to understand" was meant to mean "I don't see why the pharmacists in question can't see the correct way to handle the situation. I try not to be "petty" and, believe me when I say, if I am ever snide I make it VERY clear about what and to whom I am speaking.

I think Tease already mentioned this but apparently this also includes birth control pills. They can decide that they don't want to fill those prescriptions either.

Sorry, but in my opinion, if you don't want to dispense the medications that are available, then you need to find another job. I just signed a petition stating that.

Also, I forgot that some points I made were not mentioned in all the 'legal' talk.

So what if a christian scientist or any religion that doesn't approve of medical help decides to become a pharmacist? What legally does he have to do? anything? Nothing at all? Just pass out literature about how we shouldn't use that stuff? hmmmmm? Where is the line drawn?

And i wanna sign that petition too!!!!
