I see your face
It's everywhere
I close my eyes
And see you there

Your eyes that sparkle
Your touch is smooth
Your smile so bright
Lets me know that you care

I care for you
I love you
I miss you
And yet hate you too

You frustrate me
You annoy me
You make me sad
And irritate me so bad

The day I left
You made me mad
You didn't say goodbye
Which just made me want to cry

But here I sit
Writing this thing
I'm thinking about you
And hope you're thinking of me too

I know your feelings
I know you care
I know you you want me
Just like I want you

I intrigue you
I infatuate you
I tease you
Just like you tease me

Our feelings are separate
Yet one when we're together
Our desires are shown
But only to each other

We keep our stuff quiet
In fear of deprecation
So while we're in public
We play like two overgrown children

We giggle and laugh
And poke fun at each other
So no one suspects
What lies undercover

But when we're alone
It's a whole other story
Our true feelings come out
When no one can bother

But now we're apart
For how long, I don't know
But what can we do?
We're two separate people, with two separate lives

But while we're apart
A bond we will still share
A bond that may be secretive
But always truly there

I think you should regain faith for your ability. I think you have an eye for it. Those are wonderful passages to quote. I bet you could write one just as good simply because you saw and felt what was in the ones you posted.

I hope you try again. I hope I get to read them.

I think the last time I wrote a poem was in high school and I got suspended for it.

Oh I remember what it was quite well. I don't think I'll ever forget it. I'm the only girl that I know that's been thrown out of school for sexual harassment through a writing assignment.

Well it was more of a negative sexual harrassment and it was toward another student. Saying her and I didn't see eye to eye would be an understatement.

Amazingly i wasn't depressed when I wrote this cheery little accoustic guitar number!

Lurking Decite


Quaint flowers lurk,
Inexplicably scheming a deciteful ruse,
Serenely spreading its spores,
Embeading them in the garden's heart.

Incubated in the soil,
Cultivating into seemingly Immaculate flowers,
Hydrochlorich pollen devistates the garden,
Infestation swarms...

The sunflowers set,
As daiseys die,
And Quaint flowers lurk...
