Maybe you can try one of those G string Bikini Panties that you can tie and untie on the sides, or even better, don't take it off at all, when the time comes, just move it aside and that's it. Hope that helps

And I find most crotchless underwear to be a real turn-off, something more fitting for a geriatric ward or overweight lesbians. Just have on the garter and harness neneath a dress or whatnot and it will achieve the desired reaction form your b/f. You could try wearing a skirt without underwear. That way, you could still have "the initial veiling," when the skirt is covering your pubic region, but the "unveiling"--lifting or taking off the skirt--would still come fairly easily.

If you are completely opposed to the idea of going without panties, a g-string may be your best bet. They are generally easy to pull to the side. The fastening panties Junocozmos mentioned sound even better, but I've never heard of these things. Could you show us a link to what you're talking about, Juno?

Reasons why I think crotchless panties would be paticularly useful to the aged and lesbians:

1. Elderly don't have to worry about underwear interferring with their waste diapers.

2. Lesbians couples could actually share these garmets considering they're both females (don't females usually prefer such apparel?)

3. Overweight elderly or lesbians would appreciate the uncomplicated design that still offers support.

4. I'm sure that this final reason, EASY ACCESS, is appreciated by all who come into contact with such underwear.

As for cassie's original question.....the garter belt was around long before pantyhose.  It was what women had back then.
the stockings were separate and sold in pairs like mens socks.
Underwear was worn under them and the garterbelt was uncliped(like a bra) and stockings removed then underwear to have sex.

Somewhere along the way some women didin't wear the underwear...just the garter belt and stockings. Probably those who found their guys liked to see them in heels, stockings, and belt.(nothing else) or those anticipating having sex. Photographers of women for mens magazines presented images of girls in their stockings to eager male consumers.

There were some bikini underwear/thongs with fasteners on both sides which could be released for a quick removal when a girl was wearing a garter belt.   She could quickly remove her underwear for sex without having to remove the stockings etc.

In the seventies in Europe someone produced pantyhose with the crotch and back cut out and the sides cut out.  It made the pantyhose look like a one piece garterbelt-stockings, and the underwear could be worn over them.  I thought they were a nice idea but they didn't show up in the USA until the eighties when lingere seemed to undergo a revival.

I always thought the stockings with the seems up the back and sandal foot reinforcements of the toes and heels were the sexiest.  Some garter belts are just a one inch strap around the waist with straps to the top of the stockings and seem best protortioned to very petite girls.  The ones with the V shaped webbing with the straps to the stockings look better on fuller figured women.(my opinion)

What I like about the garterbelts are the variety of colors they come in and stocking colors to match.  All black is sexy,
red, pink, lavender, teal are favorites of mine.  Some wear a black belt with natural/or suntan color stockings and look good
as well.

I think most guys like to see the heels with the straps around the ankles with these outfits and consider it dead sexy.

Google Maple Drive Camisol is an alternative to the garter belt. Wear with side clip underwear.

Look for bikini or thongs with the side realease fastenings.  You can get in and out of them easily. I've bought them for my g/f and they worked great for us.

In the last link photo of the model in the in the cami...her stockings are the lower rise lenght. The others models stockings tops rise to nearly the crotch. Most consider the high topped stockings to be better looking, like the model in the first link shows.

I wear garters and just wear the panties over them. I don't think it looks bad but that could be the outfit I wear. I do like those stockings that are crotchless (my man likes them) that have the strips going down the leg giving the illusion that they are gartars. Very comfortable and you don't have to worry about the gartar snapping off.
