I am currently getting the gardasil injections, and I know that they say you should get it before you're sexually active. But what if during the time I am getting these shots, I would like to have sex.... is that possible. Is the only reason they want you not to be sexually active is because your partner might have it? If my partner in a virgin and doesn't have it, can we have sex....???

From what I can tell... you aren't completely protected by it till after the 3rd shot.
I mean I guess you could if you make sure you are protected but I mean if you are getting this treatment...why risk the chance of losing it's intended purpose?!?!
Has your partner been tested for HPV? I mean you can't always believe everyting... you have to look out for yourself.
You are not completely protected until you complete the regimen of three shots. In the meantime, use condoms. You need some form of pregnancy protection and a condom plus vaginal spermicide will cover that as well.
You can theoretically not be exposed to HPV from a man who has never had intercourse. Everyone lies about sex.
