I have a little problem.....my foreskin does not open. Even though it does not create any problem in sexual intercourse, I want to be able to pull it bak. I do not want to get circumcized. Does anyone know if there is a way of doing it?

foreskin problems

Thanks a lot for your help. I appreciate it.
Edubbs has posted some of the best advice I have ever seen on this board. One thought to add: you do need to follow Edubbs advice because a foreskin that cannot be retracted becomes a wonderful, cozy home for all sorts of little things you really do not want to be incubating on your body. There is no way to completely cleanse the area without retraction.
Not to worry just yet. Do you have a primary care physician? Also, do you have some type of health insurance? If you do have a primary care physician, tell him/her what your problem is and/or schedule an appointment with them to have your foreskin examined. If they are competent, they will not just jump to conclusions and recommend circumcision. Your physician should only make a recommendation on treatment once they have taken a complete history and completed a thorough examination. There are a few other simple treatments out there for tight foreskin that don't involve circumcision. If your doctor does recommend circumcision, ask to have a second opinion from a urologist or even another PCP.
If you don't have a PCP or health insurance, find out if there is a community health center in your area that would be willing to give you a free or reduced-charge examination and consultation. If you are a student at a high school or college, you may have access to a school health center at which a nurse, nurse practitioner or physician can examine you/give you advice. Even if your school only has a school nurse, talk to him or her about where the best places might be to obtain health exams or advice in your area. Good luck with everything. I hope this helps. Unless your foreskin is unbelievably tight and/or infected, circumcision should usually be a last-resort treatment. On a closing note, I STRONGLY encourage you to seek out advice from a medical expert who is a physician or nurse practitioner (especially someone in the field of urology). I am not a doctor, and am only expressing the information I have from readings and from what other people have said.
I gather what you mean by your foreskin not being able to open means that it is not able to be pulled back to retract over the Glans. Most uncircumcised boys find that their foreskins begin detaching from the glans just before puberty, a process that often takes several years to accomplish. It is not uncommon for the boy to help matters along just out of natural curiosity.
You do not give your age, so if you are in your teens, the liklihood is that the separation process has not had time to be completed. You can help the process along by taking frequent soaks in a bathtub filled with very warm water. The water softens the skin. You can then work to expand the foreskin and work it loose from the Glans. Do not expect instant success. As noted, the process of separation often takes years to accomplish. If you have the desire to work with your foreskin, just do so a little at a time.
I was just reading this and i 16 what should i look out for or do?
The points mentioned above?
