Foreplay with honey

OK, I'm sure somebody has addressed this already, but I couldn't locate a link, so I'm asking again. Also, not so sure this is correct area, but have to start someplace.

My girlfriend loves for us to use honey during foreplay, which is definitely fun. The question is, are there any potential health hazards involved if we get honey in her vagina during intercourse?

Not really. Consider the possibility of the sugar enhancing the growth of yeast. If she has an increase in yeast infections, stop.

Honey, combined with other natural acidic foods, was often inserted as a pessary for contraception by Mediterannean cultures - specifically the Greeks, Romans and Egyptians. The honey worked as the viscuous vehicle and lemon juice, tobacco juice or, in the earliest know recipe for a chemical contraceptive, crocodile dung, as the spermicide. Inserted with a thing looking like a modern pastry decorator these combinations were very similar to modern foams or vaginal jellies.

My point, simply, is that honey has fille sexual interests for at least four-thousand years.

Thanks for the response. Can never be to careful. :)
