Well, i think i just figured out that i have them.
I'm 18, and and I've had them since I was 12-13. I knew it couldn't have been a std since I obviously wasn't sexually active at the age of 12. They're just small, painless bumps, mostly cluttered under the backsides of my shaft. They're not too noticeable, and the spreading has slowed down tremendously since the age of 16. However, it still is slowly spreading. Maybe an addition 5-10 bumps here and there in over 2 years.
Basically, because of this condition, it has really affected my social and love life. However, I finally said **** it, and started dating my first girlfriend who I lost my virginity to not long ago. I only had sex with her because I knew I could get away with her not noticing the bumps, and i did use a condom. However, I know she is going to find out eventually, and I was wondering if anyone else has gone through this situation.
Should I attempt to get them removed? What are the basic treatments? How do I tell her without her blowing up and freaking out, with her thinking I'm lying about an std?
Also, do these spots go away with age? Could anyone link me to some helpful info on this?
Any help or tips is appreciated. thanks.

Fordyce spots are really not considered a "disease" by most doctors. They are so common that they are considered to be normal physiology. They may increase and decrease but will likely never go aay completely. The actual cause is unknown and we see them quite frequently in men of all ages and all genetic groups. To be certain, talk to your doctor. It is likely that nothing will be done and you can consider it your own little imperfection.
