Okay, so it's my first time as well as his (most likely in a month or so...). We were talking about it, and I brought up the fact that we both know I can't get pregnant. Not that I'm incapable, but that we can't let that happen. He says he'd rather wear 2 condoms and wants me to go on the pill, but I really don't want to (go on the pill that is). Back to the point, will doubling up on condoms effect his stimulation in bed?

First Timer, He says....

Doubling up is a bad idea. It can actually damage the condom and cause it to tear or break easier.

Indeed. All of the major manufacturers of condoms recommend that you do not double up - it causes the condoms to generate friction between themselves, which can lead to failure of both.
Condoms, if used correctly, work perfectly well to prevent pregnancy (and most STDs). If one fails, then I'd suggest you avail yourself of Plan B or other emergency contraception.
I concur with the use of just ONE condom, of course for the fact that it's a dangerous use of them, and secondly because it will reduce stimulation for him. One condom already does.
If you want to "double-up", so to speak, why don't you use a condom as well?
Question; why don't you want to use birth control? It's prefectly safe and it helps with a couple of aggrivating factors of a woman's life.
A generic brand only costs... 30 dollars at most? I believe. That's without insurance.
Yeah, with insurance, mine, non generi, is about $12. Worth it. Or, go visit your OBGYN and ask about Mirena, or some other long term birth control. It lasts for five years. Totally worth it. No more fooling with condoms!
My form of doubling up is having condoms and birth control, I try to make it more than 100 percent positive that I will not get pregnant!
Since I've been on birth control, I do find that I let him not use a condom more often... mostly because it feels 50 million times better, but I haven't let him cum inside of me yet.
Yeah, that's agood idea, I never thought to just look for a planned parenthood. I think I will. Yes....Thank you. ^^
I can see how doubling up can be a lot more harm that help. One of the main reasons I don't want to go on Birth control is because I know my parents would have a fit if they found out. You see, we're still in highschool, this makes it more difficult. Condoms on the other hand are much easier for us to get, it just seems like it would be so much of a hassle to get birth control pills. :\ I know once I'm on them it'll be better, but until then...I dunno.
Check in your area for a planned parenthood clinic they can give you birth control without your parents finding out. Usually it's very inexpensive if it costs anything at all.
There isn't any harm in your parents finding out, but I do know what you mean by them freaking out. I'm also still in highschool, my parents don't know I've had sex with a few of my gf's from my point of view. My sister I told, she is 4 years older than me, so no biggie. Personally, I think they know, not as big of a deal though for a guy as a girl. Just tell your parens you would wrather be on birth control and not need it than to need it and not have it, I say the same thing on condoms, and any other product in any situation :D
