what is a good position for your first time? And what if the guy has a large penis? I don't prefer my guy to be big because of the pain (but he says his is kinda large) so I was wondering what is a good sex position for a guy with a large penis that doesn't cause too much discomfort? I'm really nervous about my first time! I want to give my man a good time, but I can't if I'm nervous and in pain for the whole thing.

I would disagree, a female superior position would be better because the woman has more control. I don’t really think of the girl of having much control in the missionary position.

The Missionary position has worked for centuries and will do the trick; however!, there is a better way and this is why I recommend the Woman Superior position. I recommend you read the articles listed in my original reply for your edification and enlightenment.
The Woman Superior position, not the Missionary position, places the woman in complete control. She is able to control the mechanics. As for physical pleasure, a woman may or may not derive an orgasm the first time based upon whether or not any discomfort derails and squelches it. It is usually better to help her have one or more orgasms if she can before penetration is attempted. She will also be more relaxed. If there is no discomfort and she can enjoy an orgasm, then in this position she also controls the depth of penetration and the speed of the action.
A trick that had worked for me and my girlfriend (when we lost it) was to have me partly in about an inch or so, right to where it would start to be uncomfortable, and then I started to rub her clit. And as she started to relax and enjoy the pleasure, she just naturally started sliding her hips up more to the point that I was totally in and then I could start to thrust.
If it is a special, emotional moment with one you care for (as it ideally should be) then I can't help thinking that missionary might be the nicest if not the most practical.
If he really is larger than average (most guys think they are) then using a good quality lube might help.
If it's your first time and it's someone special, don't focus so much on the position. Play around, experiment, and enjoy the experience. If you spend too much time trying to make one of the more complicated positions work, you may just end up frustrated. It may not be perfect the first time you do it but all is not lost. That's what practice is for!
I have long recommended the female superior for the first time for women. However, it also requires knowing how to do it. Note the number of questions that show up here regarding difficulty with her being on top.
The swing you leg over and lower yourself onto him does not work. When upright, there is tension in your thighs and lower abdomen that makes things difficult. Lean forward resting hands on his chest or on the mattress, guide him with one hand and lower yourself at an angle until you take him all in. The, do not bounce up and down; rock fore and aft.
In missionary spread as wide as comfortable, raise your hips with a small pillow, raise your kness as far as comfortable and guide him in.
my first time we started in classic missionary but pain was too much so we switched to side by side and it worked like a charm! we still revisit the position - kind of like a nice trip down memory lane :)
I would say missionary just because there is less pressure on YOU to do anything. If you feel up to it try female superior (girl ontop). Just grind your clit against their pubc bone, its pretty simple once you get the hang of it.
I also find most guys like doggy style. Its not too hard to perform either. Im sure if you look around here youll find something that floats your boat.
