Most likely you are stressing out.
Do not roll the condom on until you are on the raw edge of a climax yet can still maintain control--then, invite her to do the honors. There is no point in putting it on too soon and much to be gained by waiting.
Were you trying to slip on the condom for too long? Time from an unopened condom on your hand to your lil dicky normally takes only few seconds before it gets soft. It's either too long to get it done, or perhaps you just freaked out.
The condom should fit snuggly without making your penis look like it is a sausage stuffed into a casing kind of thing. You may have to go up a size. Try Magnums.
Many women prefer putting the condom on. We can make sure it is on right and make it part of our "invitation." BTW, spermicide in the vagina first to add protection!
I know Trojan also makes condoms with spermicide on them already. This could help because you now you have double protection.

All the condom manufacturers make condoms with spermicidal lubricant. There is not enough to make much difference. Use spermicide - jelly, film, foam, sponge, suppository - your choice. Just use it.
In comparing varying doses from 50 to 150 mg in the vagina, the higher the dose the lower pregnancy rate. The condom has only a few mg on it.
