People who don't permit the reception of replies to private messages really should not be permitted to send private messages themselves. Grrrr.

The little trolls would just turn on "Accept replies", spam the hell out of their chosen target, and then turn it back off. They need to make it where any messages you have sent are deleted when you stop accepting replies. But they would find a way around that too, so some more drastic and draconian measures would have to be taken, and so on, and so on.

I'm afraid the war on Cyber-stupidity may be one that cannot be won by conventional means, since there is no law making stupidity painful, yet. I'm afraid we may have to nuke the Internet!

This being the case, "tc", either use this venue as intended and availing yourself of its many resources, or move on. This is a site for grown ups with grown up questions regarding life, love, relationships, romance, and, sex.

I'm a little confused doc about your reply to tc. Her original post is in the proper section, and she is not like those other members that post futile comments with poor syntax. This doesn't seem like the gentleman that usually posts here.

Hello everyone,

I made a mistake and apologize for the inadvertent referral to "tc" when I actually meant the remark for "king44".

I originally posted on this thread as a way to possibly communicate with "king44" and let him know that the reason I had not answered his p/m is because replies to his private messages were being blocked. He saw my post and commented with a second p/m, yet I still could not reply, and that is why my response with the two quotes, one from each of his p/m's to me.

At the time it appeared to me that he registered on the site just to ask me if I had ever sucked a penis. (Now, twelve days later, he has yet to post to a forum.) I was unaware that he was also sending private messages to others asking each person a different question of a personal nature. King44 sent a third p/m and has yet to tell me "of what relevance it is for you to know?"

Subsequently, big916 and Aphrodite_66 added additional comments and my reply:

** I do not know the reason why king44's p/m's cannot be replied to; however, because he has asked personal questions of several people, and not contributed to the forums, I decided to inform him about the proper use of this venue, which is not to register and only ask people personal questions.
