Intro Article - Menstrual Sex
The introductory article on menstrual sex generally covers the major points - as do some of the stickies on the topic. A helpful hint that should be added deals with the use of tampons. If a woman is using tampons and anticipates vaginal sex, the tampon should be removed a half hour or so before penetration. Switch to a pad, if flow is heavy, or nothing, if light. Removing a tampon, especially if not soaked, dries the lubrication from the vagina and will make penetration more difficult than necessary. Allowing some time after removal allows moisture to accumulate and makes for a better experience for each partner.
