Wonderful Site - Suggestion/Question

While it seems easy enough to find some of this information spread across the internet, it is really great to see it all in one place; whoever did the animations... Bravo. It really feels like a pay-site for free.

That said, something you may want to consider is being able to rate posts that are done on the main areas of the site. Much like a 'thumb up' - 'thumb down' system like YouTube has, graying out comments that don't meet a specified threshold. I mean, there are some excellent comments, but there are lovely colorful comments from time to time (no doubt random perverts asking for sex from random members, etc). A rating system may help 'self-mod' some of the work the mods have to do.

I was wondering, should we report comments that are obviously not in good taste? They aren't spam but they aren't real great either such as

Quote:
"Man this one looks REALLY hot.damm to bad I don't have a sex partner any body interested??..
Just pm me."
And the like (Under http://www.sexinfo101.com/bridge.shtml ).

Again, thanks for the wonderful resource. I've already shared it with a few people and they really think it is fantastic.

Welcome to the SI101 Board and its Forums. I hope you enjoy participating. Please begin by familiarizing yourself with the FAQs, the Posting Guidelines section, and especially the Index, all found at the top of the main screen. The Index contains links to helpful informative insightful, as well as how-to articles that discuss the most common questions and concerns people ask about. As you have discovered, clicking on the site's Home page provides even more information.

I'm glad you found us.

Please notice that at the top of each thread page there is a "Rate Thread" drop down menu.

YES. The site has three moderators who oversee the day to day operations; however they cannot be everywhere all of the time, and, depending upon the time of day, may not see an offensive post quickly. I do not know whether they have the time to read each and every thread so having the entire community on guard has proven to be a very important asset. We are proud of our site and work vigilantly to maintain high standards.

The site is also self policing. Please note that there is a red triangle at the top right of each post. If you click on this, a dialog box appears in which you can alert the moderators about inappropriate and/or offensive posts and SPAM that you find.

Next to the red triangle is a scale. Clicking on this will let a member of the community add to another member's "reputation" who has a history of posting great information. If you find a particular post helpful and extremely worthwhile, please let them know.

Again, thanks for the wonderful resource. I've already shared it with a few people and they really think it is fantastic.
We are here to help "pay it forward", making life easier for those coming up thru the ranks behind us.

Some of the board features were being abused, so they have been shut down for the meantime due to the amount of resources that were being wasted on them...
