I have a question. Do threads ever get deleted on this site or does everything stay around forever? It seems anytime you do a search you get so much crap to wade through that it's just easier to start another thread when you have a specific question. Since we've seen a ridiculous amount of duplicate threads it got me thinking why. Then I tried to find a thread from a few months ago using the search and there was a ton of results that made it overwhelming to find.

I'm on other chat boards and if a topic is not posted in for a few weeks or a month, it's deleted. That may be an ironic way to stop duplicate threads. All of the "Sticky" topics would obviously remain because they are full of good information on general topics. Having said that, can't someone delete some of the mountain of penis size or anal sex threads? There are so many "fringe" threads that have no new information in them that they could go away and no one would miss them. If there was 2-3 threads on a topic, someone may take the time to read them and find out what they want to know. Seeing 8 pages of threads makes finding something near impossible.

The moderation on this site is odd(no offense). I normally see moderators be active on forums. However I rarely see moderators make posts and interact with the members.
