Is it just me or has this site gone downhill?

Partly that, NuttyChick, but also the result of the trends I mentioned which have been apparent to me for some time, both from my time as a lurker and as a registered user.

You think this site has recently gone downhill? Do you realize that just a few short years ago there was a 14 year old boy (champloo?) giving advice in the "womens health" section?

So yeah, I'd reserve that designation to a time when women asking about periods and birth control were met with advice from a 14 year old boy. Thank god Brandye put a stop to it.

No, I will not be 'nice' about responding to them because the world out there is not a kind one and it is actually better for them to hear it from me than to get slammed by someone who they're interested in - out there where it counts.

I tell the truth, try to make people think beyond their entrenched assumptions, and give them the 'how you appear to others' information so they'd actually think before they say or do something.

If this requires a brick upside the head, then it requires a brick upside the head.
