OK, it is really nice. I do have one request and do not know how to get it through to the moderators: A new registrant, with no posts, has contacted me to be a friend. I did refuse and sent him an email explaining that I am busy enough; I do not want "friends" lurking aorund, too.

Is there some way new people can be slowed down from making all sorts of friends as would be appropriate on a general social networking site?

I haven't been able to find anything like this yet, but will continue looking...

The only thing that comes to mind thus far is creating a custom hack that requires some number of posts before someone can do something, but this is just going to result in crappy posts all over the place...

So far, only three have asked to be friends. All immediately after joining. I simply deny and send them a pm. No big deal. Thanks
