LOL At Rep

I just noticed, whenever you leave rep it says thank you may you be so lucky to recieve the same rep (Or something along the lines). I cant help but laugh whenever I leave neg rep on something and it says may you recieve the same...its as if the website is mad lol

Yeah and you can't ever give new rep for the same person o.0 because I gave you rep months ago and it still says I have to spread it around first.

I just got both negative and positive rep for the exact same post. Just thought it was kind of funny.

haha i got some funny comments on my reps, some people dont know what thier talking about, but neg rep doesnt effect your rep power, i wonder why that is..

It actually does, Lust, but I find that positive reps cancel out the negative ones, depending on what you have. I'm not entirely sure what the algorithm is.

Well Justa, it removes your points but it still has the same message when you hover over their rep.

Right--that's why I think it's something within the algorithm. Number of positives, number of negatives; but not sure how they interact. I got down-repped recently and it changed my hover text.

Positives are worth 10 negs are like 5ish or so.
