DVDBear has a spectacular aura about
Computer attacks

Hmm, everytime I navigate to 101 today, my computer protection software goes crazy, saying it's blocked an attack of MSIE ADODB stream object file. Anybody else seeing this?

I don't have any problems at all. Using Vista and FireFox. I'd say run a virus scan DVD.

Do you use internet explorer? If you do, then that is probably why. I have it happen to me.

You're right. I was using IE earlier and now I'm on Firefox with no problem. IE sucks, dunno why I continue to use it at all.

Hey Bear, you ought to run your anti virus program if you haven't lately. Same goes for spyware programs. It only takes one AV program; however, in addition, everybody should have several spyware apps because it takes more than one to keep your computer afloat.

Using Mozilla Firefox is a good move for anybody. (And if any of you out there is cyberspace do not know about these excellent browsers and mail clients, just Google Mozilla. Firefox and Thunderbird and others are all FREE! and are much better than M$ in that they have adaptive filters and are not as prone to attack.)

Also, make sure you have a two-way Firewall. The XP firewall is one-way and not that good.

Google any of these things that you have a question about. Here are two links:

I don't think so......

The feet may learn the steps;

Dancing is the fastest way to get
a girl alone and into your arms in public.

The Tango smolders and burns. It ignites the
heart, the soul, and yes, the libido.

Life is not about waiting for the storm to pass,
it's about learning how to Dance in the Rain!

Dance as if nobody is watching.

Thanks doc. I have Norton constantly running (hence the warning) and do weekly complete scans on my system but maybe I'll set it to do one now just for safety's sake. I've never had serious virus problems and I don't want any!
