I dont have a problem with strong & opinionated women. One of my best friends is exactly like that.

There aren't many strong & opinionated women about, in my experience through friendships & acquaintances, I have seen that most are insecure & not at all strong people.

When EEK gives advice she fails to forget this. She may blurt out all this insensitive "logical" garbage, but none of it can be taken on board & used to an advantage when someone is not a strong or logical person.

We all have feelings & emotions tied up in something & they cant just be removed from the equation just like that.

Someone comes on here asking for advice & the first post from EEK is her insulting them & telling them to get over it. It's almost like she didnt think at all before she typed. This girl had real emotional problems & all she got was a barrage of crap from EEK. I have a general distaste, no childhood issues etc.

A strong, experienced and opinionated woman is fine as she speaks freely and she voices her opinions very openly and without holding back. Sometimes, this is just what people need - a kick in the butt and reality check.

But sometimes a gentler approach is needed and is more helpful. You don't have to be aggressive to solve a problem. Sometimes someone's eyes can be opened at a slower pace, giving them a chance to adjust to the light.

You both go at it! You have a nice side let it out. I KNOW THAT! We all write differently, NY'ers are known to be rude, life is rushed here; we appear rude...saying this we all write differently but you notice many do not reference nasty stuff. We want to see you & the g/f work it out. When you practice being nice & making your point blunt, acutely, or frankly many call you on it. I was rushed, another poster called me on my response...I meant nothing by saying "you just answered your own question". I found rigid definitions make life tough. You do not have to agree with the other's opinion but you are trying to define "you". You are searching. Be the man you are inside...a man who will do anything for his lady, you are strong since you have worked through a lot with her. But be polite...when I read your stuff...you are polite & thoughtful deep inside...let it go...then the lack of security with her will vanish. She [your g/f] may open up more to you. The more open then the more sex, love, and emotions...

You & Evil have different views of issues that's all. You tork each other up in ways. It's easy for us to have no emotions, we are not in your relationship nor life. Mine has been really screwed up. Learn from what I and other's have; unfortunately I said "I do" and was married. The real him came out years later. Now I have lost much of my insecurity...but it took this long. I like the nice man who is vulnerable. Not the wicked response...let the good you show, and as your lady sees it through practicing it she may open up.

Additionally, I am leting you see what I am...I person who cares. Generally misinterpreted in my writing since it's blunt or sterile! But so am I! LOL! How is it with her???? Drop me a note, please.

Sirene may well be demonstrating why a guy's forum is called for. That way, us knuckle dragging man types (aka pricks, *******s, oppressors, "insert your favourite term here") have a place where we can use locker room talk without offending too many folks.

"Gash".... Hmmm... Not a common term here. Sure it's used, but in reference to female genetalia, not to women in general.

Kinda funny in a way, kinda not. It's all too human though isn't it?
