Just some constructive crit.

Can anyone tell me why its seems like the senior members are actually the least helpful? Seriously people, is this a place for sharing experiences and helping each other? Or for being pompous, condescending, jack asses? I’m sure if anyone actually stopped to monitor this board they’d notice how many comments (especially from senior members) greatly resemble that same condescending **** a child would express due to low self esteem. Is there any way of limiting such off-topic and frankly counterproductive comments?

Browser will become famous soon enough
I think there's an ignore feature. I'm not sure how it works, or if you'd want to use it though.

Edit: User CP, Miscellaneous (bottom left corner), Buddy / Ignore Lists.

Got it, thnx.

I think I’ve asked about blocking people and never got a very good answer, so I wasn’t sure if it was even an option.

I try to be as helpful as possible. But I know it can be aggravating if you've been around here for awhile, that you have to answer the same question for like the "literally" 30th or so time... maybe more.
If thats the case, I usually just skip over it.

It would probably help searching for old posts better if people would actually put the topic of their post in the heading instead of like "HELP!" or "READ THIS PLZ".

Could you post some links to examples of where senior members were being condescending toward you?

I could only retrace back to the ones I actually posted on...

http://www.sexinfo101.com/forum/plea..._to_tight.html

this is one example I could find...the member was luvs2plzu, however ill admit that after he mocked me the first time I might have gotten offended and provoked him. That’s when caitlain joined in (along with browser but only because he was interested in a topic he did not realize was aimed at slander.) witch is when I just ignored them both…until anonymousgirl (a junior member) raised the same argument in a much politer way.

http://www.sexinfo101.com/forum/sexu...d_nipples.html

That’s the same member again contributing nothing to a forum other than, this time, chastising another member for an unhelpful post. Hypocrite…

(I honestly didn’t mean to focus my efforts on this one member...he is not alone, although I can admit the more time I find to use this forum the more I realize that these arrogant senior members are few and far between, I guess I just had a crappy welcoming party. Thank all of you who have actually been polite and helpful.)

Well i am sure that the senior members are doing their best and you should be thankful they take their time to answer questions its not like they get paid to do it and yea it can get boring I'm not sure what I rank as.

If you feel that someone is victimizing you on the boards, you should use the alert button (that triangle button at the top right of the post) to alert the moderator as to what is going on.

Well, Johnny, if you read those posts from senior members you will find that they often refer to issues that have been repeatedly addressed in very long threads. You may be correct. Newer members, especially young males, seem to hit one forum, post a question and sit back and await the answer. Or, worse, place the same question in many forums.

It is the "asker's" question; he or she must assume some responsibility for finding the answer and a little search will often answer the question without cluttering up the board or having the same thing answered for the umpteenth time.
