Okay, I realize there is a general overhaul of the site in progress so this may be a non-issue.

I've looked at the new sex poll section and if this is the way it is going to stay, I have to say I liked the old set-up better. We seem to have lost some of the polls- like opinions- and there are no posts.

So I guess my question is: Is this the way it's going to stay? Thanks and I look forward to hearing back.

Thanks for the feedback, it is appreciated.

The opinions should be fixed shortly, thanks for pointing that out. Losing the posts is definitely a negative side effect of the new system, but we were concerned that the board was too long with them.

Does anyone else share these views or have comments on the new polls?

Also, the polls built into the Board gave many Members real problems of accessing, viewing and voting ... you may have been one of the lucky ones who didn't. One of the main reasons for going to the new polls was reliability for Members.

The old polls probably weren't much on accuracy. With Opera 7.11/7.23 they weren't recording the cookie or whatever they're supposed to when you vote, so every time I reopened the page it was possible to vote again.

I think the board is better off without some of the bickering in a few of those threads.

Thanks, Mr./Ms. Moderator, for taking the time to answer my question. *The reasoning makes sense. *And I had noticed that it was possible to vote more than once in a poll. *I would like to think that most people are honest and would only vote once, but who knows? *Maybe I'm just a little sensitive because I had just created my first poll. *Oh, well....lol.

And mike, I don't mind a little good natured bickering. *If everyone had the same opinions the world would be a pretty boring place. * But on that note, I hope the posts were up long enough for you to get my apology. *I made a cheap shot about your age- "being young and knowing everything"- and I had wanted to apologize to you and anyone else who might have read that. * I have always abhorred when people tried to prove a point with the "I'm older and wiser" argument. *That comment came pretty close to that. *Anyway, while I still don't agree with you on that particular subject, I am sorry for that statement.

Back to my original topic, maybe we could add back some of the subjects under the heading on the main board?
