Long Distance Relationships

I'd like to see some more advice on Long Distance relationships, as sex is impossible much of the time how else can we expect to keep a physical relationship alive until we can be together again?

For me, I'm at school so we see each other every two weeks about. Other girls up here don't see them except at Xmas, Its nice but what are the warning signs of it going bad? Of the positive things-- alternatives to the physical sex, but still as enjoyable?
