I was just wondering how you give out this award.
How many times do you do it? How do you choose someone? If people have to vote, when and how do you vote?

The Brandye Award is currently awarded evey 3 months on the first of Jan, Apr, Jul & Oct. (We are considering making it every second month).
In the final 2 weeks of the previous quarter, Members are asked to nominate the winner for the following quarter, with the reasons why. This is done by Private Message to the moderator. Based on that feedback a winner is selected! The criteria for choosing the winning Member includes: helpfulness to others, constructive input, level of participation, friendly disposition, etc.
