Female condoms and dental dams are not the same thing. Female condoms go inside the vagina and are used during vaginal sex, while dental dams cover the vulva and are used during cunnilingus. *If you are interested, here is some more information on dental dams:

I strongly support adding female condoms to the store. They are more popular and, evidently. available in Europe than i N. America. I do not know about down under.

They are funny looking, take some practice and some think less convenient. Used with a healthy shot of lube inside them, as well as in the vagina, they allow the man to slip around a bit and are thought to give the man a more realistic feeling. In most studies their effectiveness is about the same as the regular condom. In at least one study more sperm were found in the vagina after sex with the female condom than regular condoms. This is most likely because they are not form fitting on the male and sperm can migrate more easily. With vaginal jelly in the condom, this should be solved.
