I am not thinking about this for helping to please but rather for self confidence. I want to know about how much penis extensions are and what are the risks and are they high. I am abou 3 1/2" soft and 5 1/2" erect. Looking for maybe an inch or two.

Extensions??

I found this website... is this what you are talking about???
It looks like from the before/after photos...they gain about an inch flaccid... it doesn't show any erect pics.
Plus, these guys start out small maybe 1-2 inches.
I mean like Brandye said, you fall well w/in the normal range...plus w/ the possible side effects.. a girl would definitely rather have a 5.5 inch penis that works as opposed to a 6.5-7 inch penis that might not always work... but that's just my .2
You are well within the normal range. We women do not care that much.
If you are asking about the operation to lengthen the penis, no national health plan or insurance I am aware of will cover. I have never known a man who took this step nor any doctor who has ever recommended it. I am sure it would run into several thousands (euros, dollars, pound: take your pick).
The risks would include loss of any sensation in your penis, inability to achieve erection, having to have your urethra diverted, incontinence.
Otherwise, nothing serious.
i have no problem getting hard infact i get hard as a rock and have somewhat of a problem with cumming to soon due to lack of control/ too sensative. but i am curious about an extension
What the hell does my post say? I told you the risks and that it is expensive.
Please read the following information:
For Boys Only- A Matter of Size (Regarding your penis)
Please read and pay particular attention to two paragraphs, the first beginning with the word Size in bold, and the second paragraph that follows beginning with What is typically a "gal thing" in bold.

If you are younger than twenty, then it is important to understand that the typical male penis does not reach it's final size until about nineteen.
The flaccid size will vary greatly depending upon a couple of factors including temperature. As an example, if you walk out of a swimming pool or lake and look at your penis it may only be half an inch long! If you have the misguided impression that size is somehow connected to your virility, think again. At tiny, small, medium, or fully extended, what matters is you, not the size of your endowment.
5.5 erect? you're fine. Self confidence? You said that it wasn't for your girlfriend, so who else is seeing your gear that you need to impress? And anyways the only enlargement that works is plastic surgery, and that doesn't make you any longer: just wider.
(fun fact, "hung like a gorilla" is a actually a subtle insult: an erect gorilla's penis is only for centemeters long. Humans have the larget penis to body size ratio of any mamal, exlcuding elephants, and whales.)

Are you speaking about surgery or a toy? There are toy extensions you could use as a sleeve.
In Denmark we are just beginning a major trial against a doctor, Jørgen Ege, who performed such surgeries on men and basically took away their chances of ever having sex again.
Many of the men said that if they had known, they would never have gone through with it.
Now you know. The rest is up to you.

I am just to second that. Average is very good lenght. Maybe you just need to boost your self confidence instead of getting an unnecessary surgery. Especially since, like Orow mentioned, it can mean you'll lose what you have now.
