i am 40 and still virgin. mine was due more to circumstance than anything. am communicating with a virgin and hope to get my first time with her. but not getting my hopes up, for she may not want to when i am visiting her for on my holidays. wouldnt mind getting deflowered before or after if i can find someone who is willing to give me a one night stand to teach me a few things (ie. cunnilingus). the other part is that as nice as it is to wait for marriage at my age i aint getting any younger and to find a partner for sex is also another problem. I am neither ugly or handsome, just average. i wouldnt mind another virgin, but wont mind someone who has sex already. for it would be nice to try the different positions with a real person instead of a blowup doll.

Well, I think i took a girls virginity although actually she said not. It wasn't something I was going to question but the stuff she told me didn't seam too convincing. Oh yes... i was 5 years older than she.

ACTUALLY... according to a Planned Parenthood national survey, young women in the US today lose their virginity at an average of 17 years of age (with boys "becoming men" at around 16).

And Miro, no offense, but I am not about to sacrifice what little comfort may be gained from a first time experience with someone who knows what they're doing for potentially unnessisary pain caused by some guy's first time clumsiness. I disagree. I have three friends, that are virgins and they are going on 24 years old. They have waited since they can't find a decent man to give it up to. You're numbers may be right for 15 year olds now, but there are plenty of females older that haven't done it and when we were 15 that wasn't on our mind. SO maybe you need to look for an older woman.

I totally agree with notacreative, the average girl loses her virginity at 15½ with usually (surprize) an older experienced man, and MizMinx just proves this.  That's why people like me (I'm an 18yr. old male) are in such a jam. I'd like another virgin but at this point searching for one is becoming totally unrealistic.

So if you're a girl I encourage you to find someone else who is a virgin to save him from the pain of it all (yes, it is in-fact painful, and kinda shameful)

I have deflowered, when I was not a virgin. He was scared, but it was the best sex to this day...it was so meaningful and he still, even though it's been 9 years, thanks me. It's not the act but the meaning that counts. It isn't about who was better or how long it lasts, its about love, caring and emotion. They were all present so it was beautiful.

Aright... I'm going to be honest here. This post annoyed me and I really needed to state my opinion on the matter. To say that virgins who are over 18 are either A: ugly or B: "obviously" waiting for marriage (if they do happen to be "good looking") is both sterotyping and completely untrue. It's inaccurate and demoralizing to make such broad generalizations. I'm 20, and, yes (SHOCKER!), I am a virgin. Many of my friends are as well. Speaking for myself, I am neither ugly NOR waiting for marriage. However I do hold a very strong personal belief in waiting for love. It's not that I haven't dated, I just havent found someone who deserved my trust enough to even broach this subject. Sex is a physical act, but its also emotional. Without an emotional connection, its meaningless.

In answer to the ORIGINAL post, being a virgin I obviously haven't deflowered anyone, but I think I'd like my first experience to be with someone who has more experience than me. They'd be confident in their own abilities, I'd be more comfortable because that would take some pressure off of me, all in all.... a good situation....  lol

Since I'm still a virgin, I'm hoping to lose it to another virgin sure. It's a great way to do it that way 'cause it lets you know that you're the first couple before anyone else.

I've been with one virgin and it was maybe the worst sex I've ever had. The worst part is I had no intention of dating him. He was a friend and I considered it to be sort of a favor and more of a one time thing. Then he mentioned us dating and being exclusive and I just couldn't say no.
