The only cop story I have is when the cop caught me and my girlfriend sitting in our car waiting for the theater to start selling the tickets (our movie was at 1020 pm and it was 930)

Cannot wait to see some warm weather & put the sweaters away & buy some spring clothing! A cop can press statutory rape charges; however, to "prove" this he needs a rape kit done and this cannot be done without YOUR consent. Otherwise, it's violating your body and your human rights.

This one is a winner--seems he has to use his authority to uphold his perception of the law. Take you downtown is a threat but you do at that time require an attorney (always ask for one & refuse to ask questions) & parent present.

Seriously a 16 y/o & a 17 y/o is not a big deal unless she/he is being forced. This Cop has some real issues. You can file a complaint to his department and Chief but then your dad will be pulled in. Are you certain he is an officer and not security?

Regardless, the damage has been done--mitigating further damage is what you need to focus on. Now, your Mom grounded you. What if you offer another solution such as maintaining grades or doing additional housework to get out of being stuck in the house for a month? I would think sticking you in the house for a month is not appropriate since generally people find other means to find trouble or become depressed--alienation from your peers.

A month's grounding isn't much. Just think, in a few year's time you will be out of the house and on your own.

Right now, work on rebuilding your parents' trust in you.
Tell your bf that THIS is why being responsible about sex and properly prepared for sex is important.

The most hysterical part is the cops do the same; in public places!
