I've got one that's more about 'childrens-logic':
I was babysitting two beautiful young girls while studying. When I found a job, I had to say goodbye. The eldest was truly sad and kept asking: why? I tried to explain to her that I studied hard for this. That I still loved them very much. But that I was going to help other people now. The youngest, 3 years old, didn't seem to be bordered by it at all. This surprised me, as we were close, but I actually was glad about this attitude. It would make it less hard to us both
The last day I made it all into a great party for them. At the end of the day, as the eldest started sobbing, the youngest simply looked at me and said in a soft and steady voice: 'I know why! You have too, because you're mommy told you so!" while nodding her head and blinking those bright eyes of her. This little kid had come up with the best explanation of all, according to her world
