Porn mogul's son pleads not guildy to murder, kidnapping

On Saturday July 25, 2009, The Associated Press reported the following story:

Dateline: San Rafael, CA

The son of a late San Francisco pornography mogul {one of the Mitchell Brothers] pleaded not guilty, Friday, to charges that he murdered his ex-girlfriend and kidnapped their 1-year old daughter.

Twenty-seven year old James "Rafe" Mitchell pleaded not guilty to murder, assault, child abduction, and, other charages during an appearance in Marin County Superior Court. Authorities say Mitchell fatally beat 29-year old Danielle Keller and abducted their daughter, Samantha, in Novato, CA on July 12. He was later arrested in a suburb of Sacramento, CA.

Mitchell was ordered to return to court for a preliminary hearing on October 5.
