History in the making on Saturday???
It is dully noted that opinions vary far and wide in reference to
horse racing but regardless a run at history Saturday should be exciting. What a magnificent horse. For those of us that truly love these beautiful animals. Ever get the feeling you really "need" to be somewhere on a given day. ![]() ![]() |

Ok first and foremost.....WHY WOULD ANYONE ABUSE AND/OR NEGLECT
ANY ANIMAL???????? Ridiculous. Third leg of the "Triple Crown" the Belmont Stakes. One horse, Big Brown, has won the first two legs of the triple crown and will run for the third this weekend. Belmont Park in New York State (that is in the upper NE of the Continential US). Not terribly far from New York City. Ok, there I got it off my chest................. Oh, now I understand. So are you going? Yes, I know NYS...live here & some of the largest stud farms are in my community!
Horses are one of the largest abused animals...why? I don't understand it, I just care for them & follow through. Now I understand you & I recall them discussing Big Brown--gorgeous.

Not a great outcome...
I intended for Big Brown and his potential for triple status...he was/appeared from a non-horse racers view a bit "goofy" Saturday. He seemed not to want to make the 30 year chance status! I know one horse wins! LOL! I was hoping he made history!
