I guess the opposite side I see of it is where I am is many equestrian stud farms. The "Worth" placed on a stud horse or a colt and what people will do at times shocks me. Yes, there are equally nice & decent people as well. I just see them as gorgeous loving animals & not as prize. Whereas many disagree with that view.
The one aspect I do not like is when they are raced they are too high strung.
