victoria's secret is a HUGE ripoff IMO...i agree that i wouldnt buy a bra from the types of stores i buy my clothes at (Forever 21, Charlotte Russe, etc..) but mervyns usually has stuff that is basically identical to Victoria's secret stuff, minus the logo, and is about half the price or less

Expensive bras are more comefortable, and they last longer. Never buy cheap bras from Walmart or the like unless you wish to murder your boobs...trust me.

eminatic,
It is all in your perspective. Mine are all made and fitted to me and I find curious is trtue. Properly cared for, they last and cheap bras are not worth it. Every young woman is attracted to a cheap, sexy bra at some point and then discovers how many ways a bra cannot fit. Starting with about seams and raw naw nylon thread that feels like a million mosquitoes nibbling at your breast.

Finding a fitter in the US in near impossible...investing in a few really good bras for whatever reason you wear them [okay, mine are worn only to give me a boost--slightly padded] wash them VERY carefully and allow them to air dry. Use a garment bag if you have to put them through the laundry on delicate cycle with a mild laundry detergent. I hang mine to dry carefully....they last long time. VS? don't care for their lines anymore...so I began buying sets of bras & panties on Figleaves.com. I find I am liking the Brazilian panty...if care for well they do not tear or rip during the laundry process; I like Woolite for washing them.
Old bras? Kept for outdoor work when I do not care if I get dirty or sweaty. Overall, I prefer to skip them & will do so when home since I really do not need them--only for sports.

OK, care of good bras
1. Never wear two days in a row. 2. Every one or two wearings, soak them in some delicated care soap and warm water for about twenty minutes 3. Rinse well 4. Drip dry on plastic hangars hanging by the straps, not the band I spend the most on my everyday, work bras. I have four in constant rotation (1black, 1 nude, 2 white). I buy one of these each year so the excessive cost up front is covered. I wear mostly athletic bras for work around the house and, of course, cycling. "Special effects" (shelf, strapless, long line, backless) are usually only worn for a few hours at a time, so not all of those are custom. They are still good ones. Now, if you ever have to replace all, the bra maker will get rich. Happened.
