I am really new to this. In fact, I havent even had sex yet. But when ever I start to cuddle with a girl, or anything, I get an erection. I know its natural, but I get erections way too easily. I get up there really quickly. Tonight, I was hanging out with a few girls, and they were just joking around and cuddling with me, and I got a big erection quickly. They always look too! I'm just really embarrased.
I am about 6 inches long. mabye a little less, but about that. I know thats not big, but I dont think it is small, and I right? And would this size have anything to do with why get erections so quickly and easily?
Is there anything I can do to prevent these quick easy erections? If I masturbate a lot will I not get them so easily or something? What can I do?
And if this used to happen to you, are there any little tricks you can use to hide them? THANKS

how old are ya? (if you dont mind me askin, that is.)...im fourteen. and of course, this can happen ANYWHERE.
i get erections at lunch, during class, while WALKING at school for goodness sakes. when i hold my girlfriend's hand, since my penis points a little to the left, and my girlfriend likes to be on the left side when we hold hands, i get an erection and its like my penis is pointing towards are hands.
its hard to hide for me. im a tad bit bigger than you...6.4. no big deal, you are fine how you are ;) and most girls like seem to like something in that area (am i right ladies?). and hey, its not the size that counts, but how you use it.
if i am hard, and i have enough privacy (say i run to a nearby bathroom) i MIGHT be able to hide my penis by pointing it downward, and by trying to get the bottom of my boxers to catch the head. not really comfortable, but then its a little harder to tell you have an erection. although, my girlfriend has told me many times before, that she couldnt tell if i had a big penis as i clam i did (i dont really, but one of my friends, her, and i made a joke containing this lol) because it never "stuck out".
so maybe they dont notice, or they do but maybe arent worried?

masturbation does NOT change any chemical/physical appearance at all, so, masturbating like mad, or not at all, wont change when you get an erection. Hey don't worry about it man. I had the same problem, but it stops happening after a while, as you increase your "sexual toleration" I guess you could say.
Also, even if it doesn't go away, if you and your loved one are comfortable with eachother, she won't care, or she will just laugh. Even if it not your gf, I don't really think anyone cares that much, plus there is always that human doubt that it is just an "optical allusion" (unless of coarse you're wearing really tight pants, or not jens I guess).
Lastly, if it does happen, I've found tucking yourself upward works pretty nicely as you are covered by the zipper on your pants as opposed to being clearly outlined.

Gman, what you are describing and experiencing is and has been the bain of every boy's existance throughout his teenage years and to a lesser extent, into his thirties. Erections can occur from cuddling, thinking and fantazing, as well as from visual and aeromatic inputs--shucks, almost anything will cause them when hormones are raging.

Nope! It's natural and normal at your age and is the result of raging hormones and all the stimuli that surrounds you be it physical, visual, smells, or fantasy.

Possibly; you can certainly have fun and wear yourself out testing the theory. I rather doubt that you will be successful, although you can sure have fun in the process. Truth be told, we all simply have to live with them for a few years.

Yup. As mentioned, you can hide an erection beneath the fly of your trousers. If your penis isn't pointing toward your bellybutton when it begins to grow, you can move it around by casually inserting a hand in your front pocket and moving it around without calling any attention to what you are doing. This is one reason I liked wearing briefs, they would hold my penis in position so when it decided to expand it would usually just move upward without fanfare. When sitting, the folds in the fly help obscure what lies beneath.

It's all about being self conscious. The cure is to develop confidence and just make the best of it by making light of it as I have alluded to, above. Spontaneous erections are not a curse so do not make them into something bad. Consider them a good thing and work around them. What! You want to be aroused but have no outward signs that she is turning you on? Come on.... If that logic holds then you don't want sweaty palms, a flush face, breathing that is quick or haulting, etc. We accept these so why not an erection that is sorta kinda obvious is you look obviously hard. If her gaze is that obvious, then make the most of it.
Well, as a female...I'm pretty flattered when a guy gets an erection because of me, especially the (rare) times when I notice. ive heard the "friends" line 3 times from her..and its tore me apart everytime i agreed.
When I first started going out with my boyfriend (at 16) I had never even kissed a boy, so every single experience was a new one. i noticed he got erections a lot when we were together, and I was usually pretty willing, but it took both of us a long time before we did anything about it.
We have been going out almost two years, and from the very beginning I was curious about it, not disgusted at all. I can't speak for all girlfriends, but I'm pretty sure they have few to no negative feelings about erections, as long as they have romantic feelings toward the penis in question.

If you want to talk about erections that are hard to hide, I remember at one point in grade nine, when the school establishment was getting very anal about us tucking our uniform shirts in, I got a righteous stiffy in class. Before I had the chance to shift my pants to make it point up and therefore above suspicion, class ended and I had to walk through the halls, pants tucked in, giant bulge in pants from the erection pointing downard, and no dress shirt to cover it up. Yikes.
Lately, that hasn't been happening to me as much as it used to. Guess I'm just lucky, or have a higher tolerance.
