My first serious girlfriend had that issue and it almost put me off the act for life. I haven't seen that since with any other girl/woman leading up to, and including my wife. I'm actually curious to hear what causes it and what can be done. I never mentioned it to her as I didn't want to hurt her feelings.
I have limited experience in this, but I have always tried to time it so that I go down on a girl right after she takes a shower. You can do this by suggestive hinting, or even by simply asking her to take a shower with you.
If there is still a problem with it right after she showers, then I have no clue buddy. I hope someone else knows more about it and can help you :)
Vaginal mucus is an acquired taste, yet I do not enjoy providing oral to a sweaty, sticky body. So, bathe, bathe together, and/or know she (and you) have freshened up before getting it on.
Oh boy....nothing can turn an erection upside down like the smell of bad pussy. I can still taste some of the bad ones if I think hard enough.
Both guys and girls should shower before performing oral, but this is especially important for girls! A penis is an external organ, like a finger. Unless you've been sweating your balls off all day, it generally doesn't smell too bad. The vagina on the other hand, is a moist area full of bacteria.
So 2 things. She should see a gyno to get checked for any bacterial issues. I have smelled bacterial vaginosis first hand....I nearly vomited and didn't want sex for a month. So she needs to make sure she is not having any problems.
If she was working all day, shower before oral. My wife knows she doesn't get any oral after work until she's showered.
Another important thing, is try to get her "turned on" BEFORE you give her oral. Kiss her, caress her. Suck on her breasts, gently kiss her neck. Get her turned on first. This starts the flow of vaginal lubrication and gets the vagina ready for sex.
I have had the worst and the best oral sex on woman. The best, is when she is clean (shower fresh!) and so turned on that her pussy is dripping wet with excitement. Her labia opens up, the lubrication is slippery wet and tastes very good. I could give her oral all night when she's like that.
Most importantly, communication is the key. Don't hurt the poor girls feelings. I know women can be self conscience of the smell of their vagina. So be polite and sympathetic and tell her you love to eat her pussy out, but you need to get her clean and all turned on first. I have pretty good communication with my wife. To the point where she will actually tell me "You really don't wanna go down there right now.". Thats enough warning for me. LOL! :D

I've smelled some pretty whiffy male crotches throughout my life and the culprits had not necessarily been toiling in the hot sun all day.
People tend to be unaware of just how strongly they smell down there because they live with their own body odour day and night. However if I believe I'm a little smelly on any occasion my man appears to want to go down on me, I'm warn him first and then leave it up to him if he's feeling brave that day. Many men actually prefer the natural unwashed smell and flavour of a healthy female over the fake smell and taste of soap. In reverse, I like to give my man oral about an hour or two after a shower when the soap smell has worn off and his man smell has returned.
My wife never smells bad. In fact, I've never had a girlfriend other then the one that did. It doesn't matter if my wife showers in the morning and I do my thing in the evening it always the same. I was wondering if that early girlfriend had somthing wrong with her because it was always bad. Maybe for about an hour after a bath it would be what I now know as normal. Other then that it was unbearable.
Okay - if he/she smells bad to you and yet he/she is freshly showered - then it is your sense of smell alerting you to Incompatibility of your Genetics. Research has been done and the sense of smell acts as a compatibility meter as it detects the tiny bits of chemicals each body throws off according to his/her unique dna.
So do not reproduce with those who smell bad to you.

You wouldn't happen to have an article on that would you? That actually interest me :)

Take a bath or shower beforehand.
