Your response is very important. Alcohol reduces inhibitions but it also inhibits sexual performance. This is generally more noticeable in men but has the same results for women.

Why a problem? The alcohol makes it more likely that we will do something dumb - "One unprotected screw won't really matter!" - but, ultimately, not enjoy our dumb act. Sexual predators in clubs using either alcohol or date rape drugs depend upon this to get theri jollies.

Whatever drug, and alcohol is definitely a drug, can make us take risks. Long term effects of almost all drugs reduce sexual response. Crystal and crack are, perhaps, the worst.
