Yup. babybatty is correct.. you do not have to be pregnant..but it is really hard if not. I worked with a girl who was adopted, and her mother breast fed her as an infant. There are some things about the human body we as humans will never understand. But, I don't understand why the hell some woman would want to develop breast milk for a reason other than a child. Just seems ignorant to me???

I started lactating at 14 and wasn't pregnant. It lasted about a year, and my bf at the time loved it.
There's also a way to force it, but it's a long process that involves pumping the breasts a few times a day, and it takes about two months (I believe) for the woman to start lactating.
