So, I was bugging my guy today and asked him when he was gonna eat me out again since it's not something he normally does.

Yeah, i got confused with whether we were douching vaginally or doing an anal cleansing.
And yeah, all us women know douching doesn't cause infections, it's when we get rid of that good bacteria that we have problems. That's why, when I douche, I only use water. And I do that very rarely.
Best not to mess with mother nature. It's a very complicated eco system down there and it's odd to think that they more you douche, the worst you may end up stinking! geeeze! We all want to feel squeaky clean everywhere!
Also, that's another good reason to eat your yogurt. That helps with the good bacteria growth too and keeping her healthy!
I agree with that.. don't F*ck with Mother Nature. Ive douched very few times and they were after particularly horrendous periods.. it was more of a mental.. geez lets clean up.. type of thing rather than a cleanliness issue. The whole idea of douching doesnt make much sense if you think about it. We women are equiped with greal flora down there that we sure as hell dont want to get out of balance!

I'm going to add my two cents here.... as usual. The explainations of douching have all been exhaused, as have the cautions on infections, so I wont go there. A common douche I've heard of is vinegar and water, safe and natural if your gunna do it... no artificial scents (scented anything in there doesnt sound good to me, you can never be too careful). I will add that I have been told, by a doctor, that you generally shouldnt douche, period, unless theres a problem and the doctor tells you to. The vagina keeps itself as clean as it needs to be on its own. My personal view? Dont f**k with Mother Nature...

I know what douching is... but I had only heard of it as far as using something like water to "rinse out" an area. I didn't know there were scents or whatever that you could buy to make you "smell better" in the process.
So I don't need more information from him.

Douching & infections... there are many bacteria that live in the vagina. Many of them are necissary for a healthy vagina. They are the 'good' bacteria. Douching frequently will wash away these good bacteria leaving the bad bacteria to have a field day. So, yes, the bacteria is what causes the infection.. but douching can lead to this... or, in other words, douching too frequently can cause infection. Granted it's not the douce thats the culprit... but it might as well be.
Anal douching. There is a difference between anal douching & enemas. An enema usually goes beyond the rectal cavity... an anal douche clean out just the rectum... and it doesn't require staying near the toilet really. I use one of those blue bulb thingies that they give new moms for sucking boogers. (great description huh?!)... I just fil it with warm water... then fill myself as much as I can. Then when I relax my sphincter all the water rushes out along with any loose fecal matter. I usually do this a few times until the water comes out clear.

Some women stink "down there." I do not pretend to know the reason (never took a health history, etc.), am not suggesting it's only because of poor hygiene. But I will attest that not every woman always smells delightful all the time.
There could be a correlation to one thing I do know for certain. Douching does NOT cause vaginal infections. BACTERIA cause infections. Douching can change the chemical balance and increase susceptibility to infection.
Which leads me to wonder if odor is related to chemical balance? Where's Brandye when we need her? LOL People are often speculating how diet can affect the taste of a guy's cum... what affect's a woman's taste?
As for the specific issue of him not going down without a pre-douche... I find it very hard to relate and understand. But I guess I'd suggest telling him your issue with sensitivity, and trying to find out specifically what his, um, hangup is... why he effectively "demands" a douche... is it smell? is it cleanliness? is it...? Remember that it's his perception. There are people who are very fanatic about cleanliness, for example. It doesn't mean you are not clean; it means he's fanatical.

He's done it before, or he wouldn't have suggested what he suggested...as I don't think he'd just randomly think that up. lol. And I don't really think he doesn't like it cause of lack of experience with it. I just think it's one of those things he just doesn't enjoy doing like some people don't. So I guess in a way, it could be from lack of experience but really, it's lack of experience cause he doesn't really like doing it.
And I certainly don't plan on forcing him to do it if he doesn't want to. We never force each other to do something they don't want to do. It's been that way from the get go. And we pretty much always talk about what we'd like the other one to do just to see if they're open to the idea or what needs to be done to compromise or open them up to the idea.
But who knows. I got him to do it once. I might eventually get him to do it again. lol.
But if he doesn't, no huge loss. I love it dearly and would love more of it, but if it's not his thing, it's not his thing.
Does he have very much experience doing it? It just kind of sounds like he's not into it, but also like he hasn't done it much.
Maybe you should talk to him about how much you enjoy it, and it's a good opportunity for him to give you exquisite pleasure. Well when I douche, I don't use the stuff you buy from the store. I have a douche/enema bag that I just put warm water in to make myself totally clean. And twsty is right, too much douching can give you vaginal infections.
I would use a water douche or mild massengile douche with a light scent and maybe spray a nice fruity fragrance into your pubic hair? See how that does. I think he's using it as a cop-out too. If you're clean and know you don't smell (which i'm sure you don't) he should be just fine. There is no fruity douche that I know of. Only powder and flowering scented, you know?
And when you talk about douching for anal play, you may actually mean enema? See, I can use my bag for douching or anal enema. I know that sounds gross. But if you're into anal play and wanna make sure you're squeaky clean, a warm water enema will ensure that. (And I have different attachments for douching and anal, by the way. lol) If you've never used an enema, read up on it, online first. Some people don't LOVE the result right away. You have to get used to how your body reacts and for how long you should stay closet a toilet. Because it's just like a water flush for your bootie.
What he said kind of sounds like a cop-out to me... but I think that the smell/taste changes throughout the month... I know sometimes for a few days it definitely smells a little differently (stronger perhaps?) than the rest of the time, and I don't mean when I'm on my period.
I would ask him to explain the difference between douching and using flavored lubes? Because I can't see a difference... if you clean and then slather with lube, inside and out, how is there a difference? It's almost the same thing... douching is squirting some (scented) liquid up there, just like putting some flavored lube up there, isn't it?
Maybe ask him if he would try, if you washed with fruity shower gel? It'd be the same thing. You'd be clean and smell fruity.

There all all kinds of scented vaginal douches on the market. However, frequent douching can acutally cause vaginal infections. I believe no more tha once a month is what's recomended if you are going to douche. I personally never have & probably never will. I'm lucky (I guess) that my guy absolutely loves my natural odor & taste!
