Does it matter to men if women are shaved or not?

Does it matter to men if women are shaved or not?

I personally prefer shaven. But more importantly, I want to have the woman shave her lips and anything else I might encounter while going down on her. Above that area, the woman can do whatever she pleases. Its not fun for anyone having to stop and pull hairs out of your mouth.

Thanks, I found a huge thread on Pleasing Her. Fairly new and still learning my way around

I'd have to go with mostly shaven, just because I find it unpleasant to go down on a woman who isn't. My wife shaves everything, bit leaves a small "ornamental" strip.

I also like mostly shaven. My wife leaves a small mound which she trims very close now. Best it has ever been. She still likes to leave hair on the labia. I would prefer it shaved, but it is so thin that it really isn't bad at all. Guess I can't have everything.

Does it matter to men if ladies are shaven

To me a nice smooth pussy is what I like to go down on if it was well trimmed I would still like going down on her, [COLOR="Red">BUT[/COLOR] if there was a load of hair round her pussy she would not recieve my tongue on there and therefor not be getting any enjoyment from me, and also for this same reason of hair between the teeth I am shaven for the ladies to enjoy going down on me if they so wished to.

I prefer shaved. I shave for her, she shaves for me, it works.

From a female point of view; I wonder what people did years ago when shaving, trimming, or waxing was popular! Somehow I think they managed!

..... and still do, sera. If a guy is hung up on the hair, there are many women other than I for him.

With respect to a hair in the mouth, running a comb through before getting started removes the loose hairs.

Ok, well am a guy......was when I last checked anyway.......and I have the following to say;

I DO enjoy it when my wife shaves....this is generally with a little landing strip or alternatively very short all round.....I like the feeling of the soft skin on my tongue and honestly, I think she enjoys it to as the skin seems to be a litle more sensitive shortly after a shave. We also (time allowing) use the whole shaving ting as a bit of pampering and foreplay to what is generally a very enjoyable session.

On the flip side to this, my wife often goes through stages where she will allow things to grow o-natural.......does this stop me from going south.....NO!!

What I am trying to get at is that with or without......south I will go!

I agree, Brandye. If he's that timid a fellow, that any amount of hair would put him off, then he's not the man for me!

well trim the necessities at least

Trimming & shaving is something of a new fad. Many did okay for years, still do, naturally! Look at older Playboy books! Younger women see the new photos and believe this is how they are intended to look. Our body's produce hair for a reason, and if it was becoming extinct due to evolution, the hair would naturally disappear. It's one thing to make it a choice to do it but many feel it's expected.

well then I would say Brandeye and EvilKitten are not the ones for me because I AM that timid of a fellow. I cannot stand ANY hair down there on a girl. I thought I could deal with but when when I was with a girl who had only a landing strip, somehow I was still extremely grossed out. Hair down there is NOT atractive at all to me. I shave completely as well so it's not like I'm one of those hypocrites out there. Shaving is the new fad or trend yet at the same time, shaving, especially female pubic shaving has been a practice since ancient times. Ever see an artstic painting from ancient Greek times? Many of the women shaved, and in is in record that they did so. Don't forget, bathing was huge back then as well. Once the dark ages set in, humans bcame lazy and never bathed or shaved and sicne the 20th century it has come back in. I hope shaving is here to stay.

heiadn27 is right, in ancient Egypt and Greece shaving was a cultural necessity. It is also necessary in Muslim teaching. I am not sure if most practicing Muslims actually DO this, but I remember reading it is actually a religious practice for men and women to shave their pubic hair after puberty. Modern philosophers believe these countries, and Muslims have these customs because of the desert; the coarse sand gets everywhere and having pubic hair makes you sweat more, and trap the sand, making it rub and corrode your skin.

Anyways, I shave completely, because I find it insanely uncomfortable with hair, it makes me itchy :(. I shave it all, even a "landing strip" makes me scratch. My partner loves it, he wants to shave but he says he needs my help :D.

good job on shaving EVERYTHING curious_woman, thats the way to go! And yea, it actually itches more WITH pubic hair. I've been shaving for almost 4 yrs now and I will not go back.

H:

It's a new fad in ther US...I am not talking about early ages, LOL. I wax by choice. As the other's, it's just a choice & if a man demanded it he would not be in my bed....

Well, we have to divorce ourselves from our animal natures too and think only of higher things.

Considering where men are willing to put their penises, it is amazing that they're so put off by a bit of fur.

and yeah, I'd really like to see a guy get his genitals waxed - *EG*

LOL
yeah they have no problem putting it where there is fecal matter! LOL :p

I'm too lazy to keep my legs shaved constantly... so I totally wouldn't be shaving down there everyday. I do keep trimmed and shave around the mound just leaving a patch.

I mean I can shave my legs one day and already have prickles the next. I think it also depends on each person's type of hair. Some ppl...like me... have very course/dark fast growing hair... my mom's leg hair is like barely there :( wish I was that lucky! lol

Demon:

That's why you wax the legs! It grows back fine and sparse, and has to be done every 6 weeks or so! LOL!

My wife isn't shaved, but usually tries to trim enough to keep things under control. I don't mind the hair and really the only disadvantage I see is that she sometimes gets irritated by the hairs interfering with oral or fingering. Sometimes she'll aske me to stop doing something because the hairs are too long and bothering her...which can sometimes be dissapointing.

i really dont care my girl doesnt shave because it bothers her when she does so she trims it. other than that i really dont care at all if u wana make ur women happy u do wat a real man gotta do :)

i dont shave but i like it to look neat and tidy so i trim... i thinking shaven can be quite irrating specially the regrowth as i am quite dark skinned the hairs seem to be thicker and come back alot quickly which is irating ....my bf hasnt mentioned anything about my public hair so obviously hes fine with it just like im fine with his ..... its only a bit of hair !!!

UGH!
that all sounds too much like work!!! :)
Hopefully one day I can afford laser treatment...everywhere! LOL

surprisingliy, I would think about waxing my man-area. I have thought about it. I think one reason I havent done it (besides the fear of pain) is I really don't know where to go to get it done or how much it costs. The nice part about being a man is it's cheaper to maintian ourselves; no makeup to buy, no tamons, haircuts cost $15, etc. When you are used to expenses like that, even if the wax is $25, it seems like a lot. Maybe I'll shop around more seriously other than just thinking about it.

Look for a spa or day spa. Other ones to try are hair salons or tanning spas. If you have a lady, ask her where she would go & then call. It's about $40 for the full bikini/groin area (Brazilian). Mainly the cost will depend on the area you live in. Yes, men do frequent them too...I asked, LOL!

I would prefer my wife to be shaven (i do completely shave), but she says that it hurts and so she will only trim. I personally dont like the hair.

I shave everything. I started when I was single and never sure of who would be seeing/touching down there (not in a slutty way....but you never know whats gonna happen).

Now that I have been in a committed relationship for 10 months, sometimes I get too lazy and let it grow for a week or two. He doesn't care. I tell him he can stop shaving his face if he wants to for those weeks. I can't stand his facial hair, but I don't wanna be a hypocrite. I find that when hair grows back it gets itchy and Im just so uncomfortable that I can't let it grow very long before I get pissed off and shave it.
