For a woman just starting; you may want to start by looking at yourself down there with a mirror. And by placing a finger close to your vagina you can feel the muscles moving and see it in the mirror. Than move inside with your finger. By flexing and relaxing muscles, you will soon find out that there are several movements to make. Just experiment! If you really don't seem to know how to start the flexing; you can get the sensation of which muscles are involved by a quick stop at the toilet: try stopping your pee while flowing. Try this only once or twice! Holding your pee in midflow, could leave some urine in the bladder which is a risk for infection.
Ben wa balls and yoni eggs could not only add a new level to your kegeling, you could start off with it as well. Cause you don't even have to do exercises to benefit! Actually i do do them and a very good feeling can be reached by contracting my pc muscles as slowly as possible until fully flexed then releasing as slowly as possible. Sometimes i go for high number of quick reps and other times fewer reps of longer flexes and occasionally give myself and erection and lift a wet washcloth using my pc muscles to further strengthen them. My goal is more about firmer erections and having a male multiple orgasm. When trying to hold back my semen by squeezing my muscles I couldnt hold it halfway through the orgasm and I shot farther than i ever have before on the first shot.. about 5 feet straight up against gravity. Kegels for males really help us shoot far.
Cool :) Didn't think about washcloths, that's probably a good weight-lifting exercise for men!
My man has strong control over his orgasm, which equals a lot of time to please me :o To him, postponing the orgasm will intensify it. And I also like it when he just stops thrusting, lays still inside me, and than will just move his penis a little while contracting his pc-muscles. Especially when I hold on tight, it's really a subtle and very good feeling :)

It's not really important that it shoots far.. but kegels do make that happen. And usually the farther the shooting means the harder the contraction of the pc muscles meaning stronger more intense orgasms. Plus feeling a large amount of semen rush through my urethra like that is a great great feeling. Peeing for men feels good.. so when cum shoots through its like peeing x10 so it feels really good. Not that i like to mix peeing with sex(gross IMHO) but its just the sensation of it going through the urethra.

Its the muscle that stops our urine flow as well as the one that contracts when we orgasm. tell him to feel his taint while peeing and feel it as he stops his flow... this is his pc muscle. Soon he will be able to contract it while not peeing and know its contracted. It also is the muscle that if is flexed while erect it will raised the erection and can also slightly raise the testicles.

does anyone have a kegel exercise program they recommend? all i have found is this one from ask men. here is the link for the full program and commentary so that this post is not too long. Kegel Exercise Routine
kegel session 1
Exercise A
Sets: 3
Quickly clench and release repeatedly for 10 seconds.
Take a 10-second break between sets.
Exercise B
Sets: 10
Clench and release repeatedly for 5 seconds.
Take a 5-second break between sets.
Exercise C
Sets: 3
Tighten and hold your PC muscle for 30 seconds.
Take a 30 second break between sets.
That’s it for today, but repeat these Kegel exercises for men daily for one week.
kegel session 2
Exercise A
Sets: 10
Clench and hold your PC muscle for 5 seconds.
Release and repeat.
Exercise B
Sets: 3
Quickly clench and release your PC muscle 10 times.
Exercise C
Sets: 3
Clench and release your PC muscle alternatively in long and short bursts for counts of 10.
Exercise D
Sets: 1
Tighten your PC muscle and hold for as long as you can. Aim for 2 minutes.
You can do the session 2 Kegel exercises for men for a week; however, feel free to progress if you feel you are strong enough. Remember that these are strengthening exercises, so start off slowly and build up, just like you would with any other muscle.
