I HATE perfume. If you're worried about odor, go wash yourself. In fact, I'd rather smell natural odor than some fake junk. I remember an old saying - the woman who smells best is the one who smells least! I can't smell hardly at all, but I can smell horrible perfume a mile away, and it's awful.

The only soap that should be used which I recommend is Ivory! Many forget that scents build up creating a nasty & hostile environment! LOL!

No perfumes, no body lotions in the vulva, no sprays, no antibacterial soaps, and no douching. Keeps all squeaky clean! And you are correct, the more scent which is added the more it creates a foul smell. A washcloth works miracles!

No man has ever complained and some have commented about the lack of a foul smell!

Actually, perfume should be forbidden down there!!! And soap as well. Those things only will lead to BAD smell eventually because perfume, soaps and similar create such environment that lets all the ugly bacteria grow and make you suffer. All you can use is special vaginal soaps with certain pH.

That's what I use. I have all my scented body washes but then I keep just a bar of plain Ivory to wash down there. I have never had any trouble or reactions or complaints lol

A lot of scents taste bad.

I don't know if you are worried that he is going to think it smells if he gets close or if you think he will think it tastes bad or if you just have a problem with the smell yourself but another light soap that works good is Summer's Eve. It's made for that area but it's not loaded with perfumes. If you wash enough, it will keep the smell and the bad taste away!

Oh please don't and this is from a woman! I have an AMAZING lover... when he is into it I have absolutely NO complaints I am the first to admit I am in lust and loving it! BUT... his former lover mistakingly used powder and scents in the feminine area. And it resulted in a bit of an unpleasant taste when it came to oral sex.
Needless to say, that is the only thing that I've recently discovered and as I didn't know this problem existed, I began to think it was ME and I've never had that compliant waged EVER!
So, please ... water is all a woman needs. The vagina is self cleaning, hense the discharge (sorry guys if reading, it's part of the reason behind my answer so...) as long as it is not yellow or green, foamy or fowl smelling ... generally you're ok. If something is amiss... and you really are not comfy with something there, see your doc. They are confronted with this type of thing every day and there is no need to worry if that's a concern.
