Take a trip to the local magazine or look around at porn sites and erotica sites. It does appear that we women prefer our stimulation to be on the lighter side or the more subtle side. I find porn sites to generally be disgusting because of the obvious display and the exploitation of women. Erotic art and erotic literature can be tasteful and that seems to be preferrd by women. Consider the graphic nature of male erotic literature and the rather more subtle approach of chick-lit. It is all getting the same idea across but the message is much gentler. Picture of a penis? No interest whatever.
I turned on by some porn and some pictures of a penis but only normally if it's a guy I know. Just seeing a random penis online or in the movies doesn't do too much for me.
