I dont know how common this is, but I'm assuming whatever this dildo is made of, it makes a burning sensation inside. I've used other objects, hard plastics etc, and I've found it's not the lube.
It's a Doc Johnson brand, black.
6 inch dong. Black in color. Our original life-like dong will satisfy your cravings. Complete with balls and all. Latex free polymelt rubber.
0225-04, black, vinyl rubber
5" - 6" long, 1" - 1.5" wide
Is the description. If it is the material, what do you guys suggest I purchase in the future? Thanks!

Hello! Sorry I'm late in responding. :) Um, well, the reaction you are having may be because of the rubber. Have you used other rubber toys before? I have a real bad reaction with rubber toys - it makes me burn as well. Most toys use phthalates that are really really bad for you to make plastic softer. I have a real problem when I use them. Look for something that is labeled phthalate free if you want a rubber toy.
I would suggest, though - especially if you are using it as an anal toy - to get 100% platinum grade silicone, elastomer, glass or metal. They are non porous so they don't absorb bacteria or odors. It is very important to keep your toys clean, so I'd use a toy cleaner before and after. Soap can damage your toys, so best to be safe with a toy cleaner. Tantus makes wonderful toys that are silicone! These higher grade toys generally cost a little more than the rubber or jelly ones, but it is definitely worth it.
Jelly is usually pretty soft, but I'm pretty sure if you are having a problem with rubber, the jelly will be even more irritating. I tried jelly because I LOVED the way it looked, but every time after using it I would burn for a few hours and almost always got an infection. I threw it away and suggest that people stay away from jelly in general.
Try putting a condom over it and see if that helps.
This does fix the problem, but I'm curious as to what are the suggested materials for anal toys so as I dont have to use a condom every time? Especially using multiple toys.. Thanks!
I don't know exactly what most dildoes are made of . . . . I'm sure each manufacturer probably has a slightly different set of materials. Doc Johnson stuff is very widely distributed and I haven't heard of that particular problem with their products before. I'd say try a different manufacturer next time . . . . and generally the more expensive ones have the more lifelike feel and (possibly) better quality in the build.
Go back and search the site or check the box it came in. It should be labeled! Especially if it's a latex compound since so many are allergic; it could also be a form of a polymer. Also, ask Suzki2007 on this site...she knows her toys! Look under sex toys you will find her posts.
I put the material in the original post, it says it's "Latex free polymelt rubber" and also, "black, vinyl rubber." What exactly is Jelly material? What other materials are there?

Sorry, I missed that part in the post. Perhaps it's the form of rubber they are using? I don't know much about other toy's...as I said other members know this stuff real well.
