Could be that you're allergic to whatever material the dildo is made of, it took us a few months to figure out that my wife is allergic to latex condoms and latex toys. there are toys made from other mediums like pvc you can find this type on line. with a little hunting
I don't know what the material of my favorite dildo is but its amazing. I had lots of rubber ones and this one is totally better. In fact we finally tossed the rest away because I won't use them now.

Hmmm, I got another idea...maybe it's just too big...that could cause too much friction most likely and make your skin raw and feel like burning.
By "get hot and burn" I'm guessing you mean the lube dries up so there's friction? It sounds like you need to use more lube, and maybe better quality lube also. I'd recommend astroglide.
Maybe you should use a dildo of a different material. I think even smooth, hard rubber would be abrasive.
