And if it tastes metallic...mayb theyre on their period? Your probly tasting blood lol

anybody know what foods to eat to improve the taste of down there? my bf has noticed my tastes differ but ive been told women taste different depending on wot time it is in their cycle.

It's quite common for individuals to not particularly enjoy the taste of semen and vaginal secretions, while others really love it. But how it tastes varies from person to person. It can be bitter, sweet, salty (and it can smell a bit like Clorox). Now, why women (and men) spit it out is a good question. It could be that they don't like the taste or feel comfortable swallowing someone else's fluids. If you are STD-free, your cum or vaginal secretions actually carry less bacteria than your saliva, but whether or not to swallow is a personal choice. Regardless, oral sex should be a shared pleasurable experience, with or without swallowing.

You are what you eat, so the food you eat can reflect the taste of your bodily fluids. Though this is not scientifically proven, here are some possible connections to food and body flavor. Garlic and onions make your breath smell bad after you eat them, and the scent lingers in your sweat. It works pretty much the same way with semen and vaginal fluids as your body processes the food. Specifically with semen, if your partner has some bitter-tasting personal fluids, he could try eating less red meat and fish. The worst offender for bitter seminal fluids, though, is thought to be asparagus. Drinking hard alcohol and smoking can also lead to a bad taste in semen, so perhaps cutting back on those indulgences can help spice up others. But some high quality beers may actually sweeten the taste of cum. Go figure. Acidic fruits like pineapple can give semen a sweet and sugary flavor.

You and your partner can experiment with various foods to enhance the taste of your fluids. Each person has a different body chemistry with unique tastes and scents. So testing various foods out will vary from person to person. Just be careful if you change your diet, though, for even if some foods make your fluids taste bad, they still are good for your diet and you want to be sure you are not lacking in nutrients (being unhealthy is NOT sexy). Also, there is no need to be overly self-conscious about your bodily scents. As long as there are no infections of gnarly germs down there, your natural body odor and taste is meant to be a turn-on for your partner, not a turn-off.

In case changing the foods you eat doesn't do the trick, using some other tasty treats during fellatio can make the experience better for you and your partner. You could try using flavored condoms for one thing (killing two birds with one stone by not only protecting you and your partner from STDs, and giving yourself a tasty treat). Or use flavored lube with or without a condom. The variety of flavors for condoms and lubes out on the market is shocking! My personal favorites are vanilla, cherry and chocolate, but there are flavors like banana, root beer, strawberry and more ... just check out stores like Good Vibrations for a smorgasbord of tantalizing tastes. Try putting some toothpaste in your mouth before going down on your partner. Or pop a mint in your mouth beforehand. You could also incorporate food into your oral sexual play. Warm syrup, honey and whipped cream are some suggestions, but be warned: they could get sticky and messy as well as cause some bacterial infections if the genital areas are not cleaned thoroughly after use. Particularly in women, food in the vagina is a big nasty issue that could get ugly (and smelly)!

I'm pretty sure I've tasted it at ever part of my cycle. In my boyfriend's mouth.. or on his fingers.. maybe its not as distinct since its not from the actual "source"

i have heard fruits and vegetables can make it taste better, so along with helping with the taste they will keep you healthy but unless he comlpans of the smell don't stress it

What does "metallic", taste like?

Chew on some aluminum foil and you'll know.

:O that's what that mean? Literally metal?

yahh, the metallic taste is probably from her period, sort of like the taste of blood

But I'm a chick... and I've tasted my stuff.. never tasted like that

You tasted it while you were on or about to be on your period? That metallic taste is more then likely blood...

Depending to the woman or girl it can taste extremely arousing.
Usually it tastes very reasonable and the taste and smell makes me extremely horny.
You really taste and smell that a woman is horny.
Women who do not really like it taste and smell rather different.

Each woman I have ever performed oral on have all tasted different. Some have had barely any taste at all and others have had a strong, musky taste even right after a shower. I think that it all depends on our own body chemistry and our diet. I know that some women have told me that my cum tasted very sweet. I’ll have to trust them on that. I have been with women that I could not get enough of her juices. I love every aspect of performing oral and taste is a very big part of that.

Smell is strong. It tastes salty and little bit weird I would say.

Please - diet has been proven to have NOTHING to do with how she tastes.

It strictly is due to her body's chemistry.

EEK,just a thought would menopause make women taste different, and maybe pregnancy also because of all the rampaging hormones

One would think so, Raunchy, but I haven't seen any research results on that yet.

Just stop with the anecdotes and the "I heard that"s and so forth. Facts - just the facts, thank you.
