douching?

Typically used to clean a vigina. Although I have heard it is not a good idea and it should just be washed normally.

Dooshing in modern terms is when you irrigate your anus so when you do anal theres no "stinky" mess.

A vaginal douche cleanses the vagina and an anal douche is step one for an enema.

There are gravity douches for which a bag of solution is hung about shoulder height (think over the shower head while you stand) and a clamp on the hose to start and stop flow. The more common device is a douche ball that is filled with solution, inserted and squeezed to dilate the vagina and then let it drain.

Douching is generally considered to be not a good idea. Some women do it to "feel fresh." In the short term, this may be true. In the longer term, they have destroyed the little eco-system of the vaginal and have eliminated more good bugs than bad. The good bugs keep the bad ones under control.

Unless your doctor has prescribed medicinal douche, the best is a one-third vinegar solution. I recommend douching when you may have too many dates in one day or you may have the wrong semen in you. Otherwise, it can cause more problems than it solves.

Just to let you know....don't know if you'll have this issue or not...but just an FYI. I used to douche before and after sex to "feel fresh" but now that I have had my second child, I can't anymore. If you feel burning, it could be that you are allergic or have developed an allergy to douches. I used to be able to use the "cheaper" douches, then after my first child, I could only use the expensive, name brand ones. Now that I've had my second, I have developed an allergy (according to my gyno)...don't know why...and can't douche. I get a burning sensation when I do and eventually develop a yeast infection. So, good luck.

so im guessing a "douchebag" would be someone (im guessing gay, for certain reasons) gay who cleans their anus??

I always thought that term was just a general insult guys used when they thought another guy did something stupid / idiotic. In the context of this thread I suppose the insult could have derived from homosexual connotations (as is all too common with male insults.)

I also have thought that "douchebag" was an assault on the sexual orientation of the target, but, after discussing this issue with others, apparently it's just a general insult, as Moose suggests. It's also one that my girlfriend likes to use.

Whoa, folks. This started with a guy wanting to know what douche means. It is a legitimate term about a legitimate process. What changes people have made to that meaning is something else.
