Someone mentioned something about being worried about their man "feeling degraded" in another thread about strap-ons being used their husbands / boyfriends.
I found that a very interesting remark. I think a man could feel violated by having his boundaries surpassed, but degraded? What a strange concept.
Quiet honestly I don't think I could be degraded sexually, unless I was tarred and feathered and paraded down the street with an erection with a peacock feather on it. Otherwise, behind closed doors, I'm am quite certain that I couldn't be "degraded." The idea means nothing to me. The concept is somewhat ridiculous to me in fact. Unless I was raped by another man, degradation with woman involved in the act just doesn't seem possible. Maybe my imagination is poor, I don't know...
Is it the same for women or quite different?
I'm fairly lax with my sexual hangups...fairly. There are quite a few things I'm not willing to do, though. If my partner tried to pressure me into something that I'm not interested in, or did something to me without my permission, I could see myself feeling degraded.
When, at the end of an evening, a woman feels that her vagina was used simply as a receptacle, we feel degraded.
I suspect that most women have felt degradation with some jerk or another.
Well that's just it. If a man was used simply as a dildo replacement at the end of a night, a man is more than satisfied. :D

Yes, and it is partly that we women are hypersensitive to these feelings and sometimes turn them into self-fulfilling prophecies. I have used men and sent them out the door with smiles on their faces. I have had perfectly acceptable sex and cried myself to sleep because I allowed myself to be used. Do not look for rationality in this; the sexual relationship is rational to nature to keep the species alive but emotional to the individual participants.

This isn't particularly true at all. Sure, that's all that some guys are after, some women too, but a lot of people are looking for a connection on a deeper level.
I think it's safe to say that if you're using a strap on on your HUSBAND in your MARRIAGE, you already have a CONNECTION, but maybe I'm just crazy.
Granted, with respect to my comments about males not being too concerned about used as a live warm dildo, you may be more correct.
I'm pretty sure you're wrong in the first case though...
