alright, so i've had this discussion with a few friends and they all differed in their opinions on this subject.
i'm curious to see what you all say!
what is your definition of 'sex'? does oral count? is it merely penetration? if so is fingering even in the same category? what about anal? does sexuality play a part?
If you've been around this and other discussion sites, there are two common uses for the term "sex".
The first refers to any and all sexual activities; the second is specifically meant to refer to intercourse. Many times I have asked a poster to clarify what s/he means.
SEX = ALL of those activities one does NOT do with members of your own family: spouses excepted.
Ex: you kiss you kids, and your husband but the two types had damn well better be different! One type of kiss is sexual and the other isn't.
Personally? Any activity which introduces touching part of a persons genitalia (breast, penis, vulva, etc).
Medically? I often document patient admits to being sexually active without penetration.
Legally? Can include lewd behavior such a one showing ones self off in public.
That's "sex" in a nutshell, pun or innuendo, if any, definitely intended.
I did not cover non-consensual! LOL! EEK hit the tip of that iceberg!:D
