i have been friends with this guy for a few years. I want to go with friends with benefits route, but well i don't know how he would feel about it or if he would be even interested. any advice on how to go about asking fwb? we had discussions about sex before..and he says he is good..and well i want to know LOL

Kiss him. If he's okay with that, then you can ask him how he'd like trying out an FWB relationship? If he's not ok with it, then you have your answer and can move on to the next guy.
