Yes. Why would you want to be negative and always be down on yourself. Self "negativity" is harmful for not only yourself but for your relationship.

Why do you suppose you are so negative? Might it be due to issues of self esteem, self confidence, trust, self worth? Being around a negative personality for any length of time is emotionally and sometimes physically draining to those around the person. I can understand having little if any experiences from which to draw upon, being new to something and not knowing what to do; although, there are solutions, such as asking for help or ideas--and, the one I like the best: Acting like a person in a movie or play in that you act the part of the character you wish to portray. Act enough in this roll and you eventually adopt the characteristics or persona of this character and thus change you. If you will provide answers to the questions, perhaps we can be of more assistance. |

YES - stop being 'negative'.
Think of being negative as ALWAYS needing HER to support YOU. Continue to do this and she will think you are incapable of standing on your own two feet AND incapable of supporting her when/if she needs it. All women want a reliable, capable man. If you're negative and always needing support - you're sending her exactly the wrong message. Rise up and walk, buddy! You CAN do it! |
